Multilingual documents, zoning advertisements,
and direct marketing publications are just some of the applications where changing
only a part of the information to create versions of the same document can mean
substantial cost- and time-savings.
With the DynaStrip FUSION, you can
build up to 200 versions of the same job! The Version Manager creates versions
based on one document list (run list) or on a combination of many lists, each
one containing some or all of the pages. When applied to a color-separated job,
you can specify whether the entire pages or only the colors found in a higher
document list will effectively replace the corresponding pages or colors in
the lower lists. Pages or colors from different lists can even be merged onto
the same plate (provided that the page background is transparent).
At the time of output, a version
is selected. The entire publication can be sent, or only the version's specific
flats.
